Story
Azat and Narin are caught by the tribe after running away together and are brought back to Mardin. Boran, Narin's brother, and the tribe's agha, insists the tribe's honor be repaired without "spilling blood" and reluctantly agrees to marry one of Azat's sisters in a berdel (exchange) marriage. Azat's mother, Bedar, is shocked to learn Sila is still alive. Azat and his father, Celil, travel to Istanbul to fetch Sila, claiming that Bedar is on her deathbed and wishes to see her daughter, pointing out that the adoption was not official. Sila and her adoptive father travel to Mardin, both unaware of Celil and Azat's real purpose. Boran meets Sila and is later surprised but apparently pleased after he learns from Narin that she is his intended bride. Sila's adoptive father is forced to return to Istanbul for a business deal, and Sila is invited to stay for Azat's wedding to Narin.
