Story
The detectives discover a human trafficking ring operating out of the shelter. They save the girls, but Max then shoots and kills the man running it. In the ensuing Internal Affairs investigation, both Max and Sander lie about what happened, saving Max's career. Max confesses to Asha that he wonders if he could have prevented Oliver's death but didn't because Oliver was such a difficult child; the guilt is eating Max alive. Looking back through her old cases, Asha realises Jabrill didn't kill Sophie Næss.
