Story
At the start of the new year, Rachel has moved to Boston but remains in a long-term relationship with Ryan. However, she calls Ryan and breaks up with him, saying she's met a new guy in Boston, leaving Ryan devastated and angry as he feels she betrayed him. Meanwhile, Katie makes the swim team and becomes close to the captain, Liz Miller. Maria feels left out when Katie keeps blowing Maria off to hang out with Liz, and the resulting anger threatens their friendship. Screech, scared that The Max may have another disaster, enlists Eric to help him extort money from the student body to buy The Max in order to ensure it never shuts down.
