Story
Reese confronts her Dad with her Mother's diary. Edward tries to weasel out of all her accusations. Lane continues to investigate the River Run plant, and Edward gets Eleanor to fire her. Reese doesn't accept Nick's earnest explanation re the ear-ring found in his bed, and she and Tom visits her Mother's lawyer in thr old-age home. Detective Wheeler tries to ward off an old boyfriend of Cassie, only to deepen the rift between him and his daughter. Peyton is not about to give up on Nick, whom she realizes is a rich prospect, when he hooks up with a young customer at the S.S. Savannah. She lures him to bed using all of her feminine charms. And using the wine cellar's bolted door as a ruse to trap them together... The old guy at the institution tells Reese and Tom that the will is kept under the watchful eyes of Aunt Lottie, Reese's Mother's favorite Aunt, who's long gone deceased. Reese expresses concern about their financial future, but finally latches on to the portrait of Aunt Lottie...
