Story
Jane and Maura investigate the double murder of husband and wife Dr. Rod Parker and Dr. Eve Parker who were shot in their offices. Both were practicing psychiatrists. She was a well-known advocate of childless marriages while he was an expert in delusional disorders. They suspect that the murderer may be a patient but Judge Eugene Allen flatly refuses a warrant to access patient records unless they can find a relevant link to the crime. That they do and it leads to a suspect, one that is infatuated with Jane. Meanwhile, Frankie and Jane are at a loss when they learn that their father has dumped his much younger girlfriend Lydia, who is 7 months pregnant.
