Story
Diamond meets with a new client, Winifred O'Hara, who says she needs protection from a former friend who tried to kill her that night, a man who walks with a limp. While Diamond goes outside to check out what sounds like a prowler, Winifred is murdered inside the house. The police suspect Diamond. He makes a run for it and is shot while escaping. Diamond decides he has to go find this man with the limp so he can clear himself. With a gun shot wound to his side, a hurt Diamond gets help from a passing motorist who's headed towards the same town.
