Story
When club owner Eddie Marquis survives an attempt on his life, his worried wife Janet goes to Richard Diamond's home to hire him to protect her husband. The complication is that Eddie's jealous and doesn't trust his wife around men. In fact, after Janet leaves, Eddie shows up with a henchman to rough up Diamond. After Eddie finds out that Diamond's a private detective, he decides that Janet had a good idea and hires him at double what Janet was going to pay Diamond. The next attempt on Eddie's life is successful and Diamond suggests to Janet that someone did her a favor. But now Diamond has to figure out who the murderer is.
