Story
Brenda is certain that Nick, who she has not seen in some time, has asked to see her now only to borrow money. Despite knowing that Rhoda does not like Nick, Brenda asks for Rhoda's advice regardless, Rhoda who advises her not to lend money to a deadbeat like Nick. In a roundabout way, Nick does ask Brenda for a favor to assist him in his cash flow issue, making the request sound like he is doing her a favor. Brenda sees through his scam, and flatly denies his request. Nick is certain that Rhoda had something to do with Brenda's denial of his request, so he decides to ask Rhoda point blank what she has against him. Nick and Rhoda's encounter extends both in time and circumstance, that circumstance which may provide Brenda with a clearer picture of the Nick Lobo she seems not to be able to get out of her mind and therefore her life.
