Story
Gary is facing a business crisis. His jeans store is doing poorly largely in part to what were in hindsight bad merchandising decisions. To get himself out of his hole, he has let go all of his staff and plans on having a clearance sale, which if it goes poorly means the final sale for the store. He recruits Rhoda, Brenda and his medical school sister Allison to help him at the sale. By the end of the day and the end of the sale, Gary breathes a sigh of relief as it was a complete success, with one minor exception of something that happened to Rhoda. A further result of the emotions of the day is that Gary and Brenda fall into each others arms romantically. The two have to figure out if they are just caught up in the moment or if there is perhaps a long term future for them as being more than just friends.
