Story
Multiple cameras follow the hunt for missing people in the UK, from the police tasked with finding them to the family and friends left at home. In Darlington, police are becoming increasingly concerned for 12-year-old Joshua who has run off following an argument with his mother. Joshua has learning difficulties and often escapes into his own private, superhero inspired world of fantasy. That and his trusting nature make Inspector Sarah Honeyman and her team especially determined to find the vulnerable youngster as quickly as possible. In rural County Durham the alarm is raised when 13-year-old Katie leaves home leaving behind a suicide note. All available units are scrambled to search for the missing teenager but with the nearest police helicopter tied up attending a firearms incident there is an agonising wait for the most effective tool in the police's search to become available.
