Story
Scott Sherwood (Kevin O'Rourke) has been asked to run for an opening on the Pittsburgh city council, but he asks Jeff Singer (Hugh O'Gorman) to run instead, since it would be good publicity for the station. Jeff's campaign seems to be off to a good start, until his wife Hilary Booth (Melinda Mullins) decides to run against him. Sherwood is delighted, as it affords the opportunity to stage a debate between the opponents on WENN. When the evening of the debate comes, another candidate, former Pirate pitcher Luke Langley (David Canary) shows up and is included at the last minute, but since the moderators don't have any questions written for him, he is left out while Jeff and Hilary go at each other. Hilary acts so insulted when Jeff compares her to John Wilkes Booth (her supposed ancestor) that he backs down and apologizes, calling himself an idiot. Hilary seizes on his admission as a disqualification for office, and it seems she has won, when the moderators remember to offer Langley ...
