Story
Hilary Booth (Melinda Mullins) and Jeff Singer (Hugh O'Gorman) are making everybody sick with their over-affectionate banter on the air, especially in their morning chat show, "Bedside Manor," sponsored by Ingrams Coffee. Mr. Ingram has sent word to WENN Manager Scott Sherwood (Kevin O'Rouke) that he wants him to fire writer Betty Roberts (Amanda Naughton) over the couple's saccharine dialog, even though Hilary and Jeff are totally ignoring her scripts. Unable to control their newfound passion, Jeff and Hilary decide to remarry in Mexico, where they were first wed (and divorced). Jeff concocts a story to explain their remarriage, since no one knows about their divorce, and they set off on a 41 hour train trip. Meanwhile, rival coffee sponsor Mr. Medwick (Bob Dorian), wants a new show to promote his Italian espresso drink, "Agitato," and Sherwood proposes an overnight show featuring the station's organist, Eugenia Bremer (Mary Stout), since Medwick's first choice, Jeff and Hilary, are ...
