Story
While reading a book by famed adventurer/explorer Sir Malcolm Havelock, both Bert and Cedric are surprised when Sir Malcolm lands in Evergreen Lake, intend to give a presentation for Lady Baden-Baden.
After attending his presentation, Cedric is rather surprised that Sir Malcolm doesn't provide alot of information regarding his expeditions, but the mood is interrupted when Cyril appears, claiming to wish to fund Malcolm's next expedition.
Bert wants to write an article on Sir Malcolm's exploits, but Ralph claims there is not enough information regarding his expeditions or claims. Bert says he'll counter this and intends to go with Sir Malcolm on his next expedition.
Cedric goes to Sir Malcolm to tell him, and it is then that Malcolm explains that he isn't really an adventurer, but simply a fiction writer. Soon after, Malcolm reveals this to Bert, who is at first dejected, but that changes when Broo and Sir Malcolm are pulled down a nearby river, and Bert uses information from one of ...
