Story
Captain Quincy, M.D., U.S.N.R. is in proud attendance with Sam and Asten when a museum is dedicated in honor of his friend and former boss, U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Burgess S. "Leadbottom" Mackenzie, under whom he served in Korea. When Admiral Burgess collapses and dies at the dedication ceremony, Quincy immediately takes charge and begins the autopsy; he and Sam find a mysterious computer chip and some unexplained questions about the Admiral's heart condition. Under U.S. law, when an active duty hero dies in the performance of his duties, the autopsy must be formally conducted by a U.S. Naval pathologist as per the offices of the U.S. Navy. Dr. Asten refuses to release the remains of Rear Admiral Mackensie to Cmdr. Butler of the Navy unless Quincy signs the paperwork.
