Story
Marker is hired by Jane Holland to look into a case of victimisation against her policeman husband who has been suspended for an alleged theft of money from a purse he had found. She seems to think a senior officer has framed him and Marker is surprised to hear that she suspects that DI Firbank is crooked and is responsible for the situation her husband finds himself in.
