Story
Young newlyweds Kate and Dave are really excited, and a little nervous, about buying a first house together. They want a bright, airy space with parking, a modern kitchen and character. The Property Brothers come to the rescue helping them find a budget-friendly dream home that can be renovated on time. With a budget that doesn't match the couple's expectations, Drew and Jonathan struggle to sell the potential of a fixer-upper. An unusual source warns Kate and Dave about doing renovations but, nevertheless, they get to work on renovating their new home. When Jonathan finds multiple plumbing issues, the couple's financial plan could get flushed. As the crew works overtime, Kate and Dave's daily visits and nitpicky questions start to grate on Jonathan. If the couple isn't careful, the constant intrusions could actually move back the move-in date!
