Story
In prison, Kika Ferragut is the target of an assassination attempt and is transferred to a hospital in Santiago. Her son Vicente offers to double the rest of the group's cut if they help him to rescue his mother before it's too late. While the fugitives are hiding out in a hotel in the city, now accompanied by Irma, Tegui's ex, Ximena Carbonell, tells Fabián Salgado, her current mate and a policeman, her version of the facts. The two of them go to the office of Chief Prosecutor Ariel Casas, who is in charge of the investigation. Despite the evidence incriminating him, Ximena defends Alvaro Parraguéz (Tegui), while Cacho Aguilera is more determined than ever to hunt down the fugitives. Salamanca suspects that Tegui is an undercover agent, and confronts him; Tegui, for his part, has found out that Salamanca is ill. Each needs the other, and they agree to a pact of silence.
