Story
Fletcher and Godber are asked by Harry Grout to assist in a prison breakout for a fellow con. Fletcher's attempt to keep out of trouble by a stay in the prison hospital is thwarted by a knee x-ray which gives him the all-clear, and he and Godber join the other prisoners in carol-singing to disguise the sound of an escape tunnel being dug. Christmas is then cancelled by the officers after Barrowclough's bicycle is stolen and Mackay is mugged as part of the escape plan. The tunnel is abandoned but Fletcher saves the day with an alternative escape plan and ends up in hospital for Christmas after all, when he unwittingly falls into the tunnel.
