Story
Neville is a middle-aged pen pusher who has long entertained dreams of stage stardom,dreams that are constantly punctured by his acerbic mother Melba with whom he still lives. When Neville's friend Maureen suggests he take part in a talent show Neville seizes his chance and works out a double act with Maureen as his side-kick. However when Maureen fails to make it to the stage it is Melba who comes to the rescue.
