Story
Rita is being harassed by her old friends Joe and Earl. Allison witnesses this and helps Rita out. She later tells Allison she wants to finish high school, but doesn't know how. Norman walks in and after Rita leaves, Allison gets mad at him for treating Rita like dirt. Later that evening, Rodney picks Allison up for a date at the Schusters. Allison is having trouble with a rebellious Kim, but is able to discipline her. When she is about to leave, David offers her a permanent job as Kim's babysitter and she accepts. Doris gets mad at David for it, feeling like a failed mother. Meanwhile, Julie pressures Betty into accepting a date with Reverend Bedford. When Jerry calls, she does, although feeling she isn't worthy to him because of her wild past. Claire reveals to Mike she is divorcing Dr. Vincent Markham.
