Story
The Labour Party may be the official opposition, tasked with holding the Government to account - but the party is currently going through one of the most turbulent periods in its history. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was only nominated to be a candidate in the last leadership election to give as broad a range of candidates as possible, but his style of old-school Socialism and political activism saw the party's grass-roots membership sweep him into power with a huge mandate. However, Corbyn enjoys no such support from his fellow Labour MP's who have launched a challenge to his leadership. With less than a week to go before this fresh leadership election comes to a conclusion - and with Corbyn expected to be re-elected by party members - the BBC's deputy political editor John Pienaar asks if this is the end of the road for the historic political party.
