Story
Popeye and Olive break up after a bitter argument. In a rage, Popeye buys a one-way ticket to Algiers and joins the Foreign Legion. He soon regrets his decision after suffering the unromantic (and tear-inducing) job of peeling onions, and enduring long marches across the desert. Meanwhile, a sultan decides Olive will be his 75th wife. As Olive awaits Popeye's inevitable (she hopes) telephone call, the sultan's servant takes a flying carpet to her house and kidnaps her. Luckily, the sultan lives in Algiers. When Popeye sees Olive being carried off on the flying carpet, he immediately deserts the Foreign Legion and goes to save her.
