Story
After Nick's drowning to kill the demon possessing him, his much more troublesome and equally attractive brother Jake - who left Chance Harbor disgraced for nearly ruining Adam's family firm by theft - returns, allegedly just for the funeral. By blood, he inherits Nick's magical place in the Circle. They need him, so Adam must suppress his grudge, as must scorned Faye, who plans to turn the tables on him. In eliminating evil Simone (who tries to kill Cassie), Jake proves his value, but he bears a hidden agenda, as the sole witch member in a witch-slayer society.
