Story
Reputed womanizer Nick's carnal happiness with Melissa is jealously sabotaged by Faye, but his charm and honesty win out. Meanwhile, Adam helps Cassie track down her late mother Amelia's best friend, Heather Barnes, to a nearby fishery hamlet, where they find her in caring brother Wade's home shack, catatonic since a fatal fire sixteen years ago and marked with a magic seal. Suddenly, Heather awakes to grab Cassie's hand. Cassie feels guilty in her mother's place and resolves to break the spell. She divulges her inheritance of the only other known of six family grimoires to Faye and agrees to let her read it in exchange for help to ritually break the spell. Though it seems to fail, Heather later awakens but in a terrible, tormented and aggressive state. By the time Adam figures out the girls have unlocked a forbidden type of black magic, an associated demon emerges to turn against the foppish witches.
