Story
(Lucifer) Successive Schemermeer inhabitants seem to have changed character overnight, including constable Cooper, who apparently turned nice but can compel whoever who looks at intensively, and the innkeeper, whom he suddenly asked on a date and successfully proposed to. By the time Vega realizes it's not coincidence but a diabolical plan, Lucifer visits the magic retreat and confirms he chose a willingly seduced mortal (mislead by the possessed man whose love she senses all along) to attain unstoppable powers. The only hope is to have the bride back down, for he can only maintain his human pretense until midnight, after that he may even be sent back to hell.
