Story
(Greystook) Successive Schemermeer inhabitants suffer mysterious attacks and robberies from an unidentified creature which puts them in a comatose state, and renders their bodies colorless, i.e. black and white. Vega shivers, as that's the MO of the Greystook, named after its English village of presumed origin, against whose gorgon-like gaze no cure is known, nor how to identify it as it assumes victim IDs. The trio sees there friends fall prey to it, and Cooper, while they consider suspects, both locals and a blind stranger.
