Story
Ernie (Barry Livingston) has innocently traded trinkets with two girls, and now they both assume that he is her boyfriend and will be taking her to the upcoming "Gym Dandy" school dance. Ernie doesn't want to go to the dance at all, and tries to get out of his dates, but each of the girl's parents insist that Ernie take their daughter to the dance. When both girls show up at the Douglas home the night of the dance, Chip (Stanley Livingston) steps in to escort one girl (Claire Wilcox) (who is thrilled to be with an "older man"), while Ernie escorts the other (Maureen McCormick).
