Story
On this episode of My Naked Secret we meet 45 year old Chris, who suffers from a massive hernia and huge folds of excess skin. Having been more than 600 pounds at his heaviest, Chris underwent weight loss surgery losing a staggering 378 lbs, but this has left him with a body he hates. After years of suffering in silence, Chris is too scared to open up to his friends about how this is affecting him and risks pushing them away for good. He's single and fears he may never be able to be intimate with a woman again, because of the way his body looks now. Chris sees surgery, to remove his excess skin and hernia, as the only way forward. But with the help of psychotherapist, Dr Linda Papadopoulos, Chris starts to face up to his body and begins to rebuild his self confidence. But will surgery provide the answer to his body loathing and get him back in the dating game?
