Story
On this episode of My Naked Secret we meet 34 year old, Mel, who suffers from post pregnancy split stomach muscles; a condition which makes her constantly looks 7 months pregnant. After years of trying to deal with this alone, Mel has shut herself off from everyone around her, including her husband Nick and close knit group of girlfriends. Unable to live a normal and happy family life, she's also sacrificed quality time with her best friends including one of their weddings in Italy through fear of people seeing her stomach. Mel's tried physiotherapy and exercise to help improve her symptoms but so far she hasn't found the solution for her condition. With the help of psychotherapist, Dr Linda Papadopoulos, she attempts to re-build her shattered self-confidence, and learns how to get her life back on track. But will a new treatment finally hold the key to successfully combating her disfigured stomach?
