Story
Margie () reads a yoga instruction book written by one of Vern's () prospective clients, Professor Ambrose (), and attempts the practices within. Despite Vern's requests that she not pester the man, Margie plots to have Ambrose come and speak at her book club. When Vern goes to see Ambrose, he is in the middle of his eccentric exercises, and Vern struggles to explain his stock information. Ambrose says that he dislikes "lonely" New York and wants to travel to Florida, meaning he will not invest with Vern, but Vern asks him to "meditate" on it, which he does. Vern informs Margie that Ambrose is leaving town and tells her not to bother him, but she and Roberta () decide that if Ambrose makes some new friends in the city, he will be inclined to stay. They invite him over and claim to be old friends from his hometown, with Margie masquerading as "Amy Perkins" from Elm Grove, and they are soon all attempting Ambrose's new yoga techniques.
