Story
Martin rigs Tim's radio to receive signals from the air force base regarding an impending rocket launch to Mars. This coincides with Mrs. Brown buying a new electric bed, a spring in which matches Martin's brain frequency, so that she can read Martin's mind whenever she's in bed. She and Det. Brennan think she has ESP, and are trying to figure out the meaning of some of Martin's "Martian" thoughts. Martin needs to keep Mrs. Brown out of that bed until the launch. Luckily she intends on going to Palm Springs. Unfortunately Det. Brennan stays at her place and will be the occupant of the bed. The detective stays out of the bed just until 20 minutes before the launch. Martin now has to keep the detective preoccupied. This in turn makes Martin miss the launch. But at least the process of doing so bent the culprit bedspring so that it no longer is in contact with Martin.
