Story
Jessica's friend, insurance investigator Dennis Stanton, helps client Amy Sue Kriegler getting paid for a sports-car she got assigned in her divorce from hard-working Ed Kriegler. She also gets Dennis to help Ed when police lieutenant Catalano arrests him for having verbally threatened to kill her ruthless divorce lawyer, Truman Calloway, when Calloway turns up dead. Dennis looks into Truman's other plausibly revenge-hungry plucked husbands, his own exes and fake male prospective client Johnny Trixler, whose real identity he guesses. When the police make a second arrest, only Dennis looks into a time zone anomaly.
