Story
On his birthday Sleet is charged with murder when TV presenter Nick Knowles' corpse is found in his car boot and it is up to new side-kick Vicki Pattison to spring him from jail and interview the three main suspects with motives to frame him - dance judge and corrupt politician Len Goodman, who crossed swords with Sleet, resentful ex-girlfriend and morning show presenter Lorraine Kelly or DI (and F1) Lewis Hamilton, Sleet's rival at police college. With a climax on the roof of Successville police station Vicki correctly identifies the actual killer - and develops a taste for it.
