Story
It's December, 1969 in Watford, England, and Jeremy Sloane is at the end of his rope. More than a year ago, he lost his accounting job, and his wife Janet left him to "find herself." His only solace is in his evenings at the pub with his childhood mates Ross, Reggie and Beans. An employment opportunity as a supply teacher goes hilariously wrong, but a chance encounter with a young American woman called Robin may put him on the right track. Meanwhile, the mates weigh in on the great peanut controversy.
