Story
Neil's latest pet project is the installation of transit only lanes, which the city doesn't have the money to implement. However, he learns indirectly that the city has a $50 million annual palm tree maintenance budget. The eradication of palm trees from the city has long been on Arpi's radar not only because of the cost, but that they are not even a species native to Los Angeles. Neil figures that because of the importance of palm trees to the business community in they taking advantage of the perception of Los Angeles being a palm tree city, the business community should pay at least part of the maintenance cost. In meeting with the business representatives, Neil doesn't want Arpi to attend to overtake the meeting, but he doesn't want her to know. Meanwhile, Jayden makes an important announcement at a staff meeting: that he will soon be a father, he having impregnated a woman he recently met named Samanthee.
