Story
Hailey and Rodrigo have started a sexual relationship, which usually means doing it at her crowded apartment. While Rodrigo happily embraces the term boyfriend despite perhaps not knowing its full connotation, Hailey struggles with what role he truly plays in her personal life, especially as she is venturing into the realm of being a conductor herself. That dichotomy plays itself out most pointedly as Hailey is heading home to visit her parents, Rodrigo who wants to come along to meet them, with Hailey adamantly against it, not only because of the uncertainty of where they are in their relationship, but because of who Rodrigo and her father are as people. Meanwhile, Rodrigo and Cynthia are having problems retaining conductors for the youth orchestra largely in having to work under Rodrigo's unrealistic expectations. But in the drummer, precocious Ricky, rising to those expectations at least about himself, Rodrigo goes to extreme measures to ensure Ricky lives up to those potentials. ...
