Story
The Prime Minister has called the general election, and for the sixth election in a row, Max is meeting with the leading candidates, including the PM at Downing Street, to help him make up his mind on his media conglomerate's influential endorsement. Max returning to the scene in public ways places Caden back in the shadows. Caden does not want his father to know that he fired Maggie, the newspaper's long time leading political correspondent, for being in his word "disloyal", Maggie's departure which was somewhat mutual in not respecting Caden. In the process, Caden continues to deal with his emotional pain at the most private of times, including "self-medicating", even at work. The one thing that Max does want Caden to handle behind the scene is *the* issue with his mother's volunteer work which Max feels will be an embarrassment to the family despite Kathryn and Max long having been divorced.
