Story
Ed and Wilbur channel James Bond in this surrealistic episode. While riding, the duo notice a spy ring dropping information, beginning with a lovely lady rider on a brown mare. Coming back another day, they try to distract the lady, so Ed can get information on the ring from the lady's horse. Wilbur is captured after a "sword fight" with a branch versus a goon's litter stick. Tied up in a shack, Wilbur manages to pull Ed's tail with a rope, signaling a light that's picked up by a nearby Coast Guard vessel via Morse Code. The Coast Guard rescues Wilbur just before they are about to kill him and captures the spy ring with their microfilm of a new USAF plane. There is a B-plot about Wilbur's father-in-law visiting, but that's just so much fluff. The man doesn't think much about Wilbur. This could easily have been a "dream episode", as it's quite outlandish, even for "Mr. Ed".
