Story
Desperate for money, relying on her gay ex-fiance Rupert Parker giving her time to pay the rent, but finding mother Parker viciously unwilling, Eliza Scarlet takes a seemingly impossible case; proving the innocence of a accountant Edward Butler, found at a murder scene with a bloodied knife in his hand, who soon pleads guilty. Wife Tabitha pays the bail and hires Scarlet to prove his innocence, only to fire her the next day, after finding a letter. Drowning in crime cases with six detectives ill, Wellington is not amused to have to save her from court via his magistrate friend as she keeps intruding crime scenes and the morgue. On site she unethically took a second client, Jamaican apparent thief Moses, to find a snuff box allegedly donated to his father at emancipation. Luck teaches her the case revolves around the secrecy of a -strictly illegal- gay club.
