Story
Anticipation is high as Tess' journalist friend is due to arrive at Drovers Run to write a feature magazine article about life on the land. However, Amanda Mowbray arrives an emotional mess having just been left at the alter and tensions between her and Tess begin to rise as old wounds are reopened and long-forgotten feelings are revisited. Jake's promotion to lead station hand at Killarney ruffles Terry's feathers who feels unjustly passed over being the senior employee. Fallout from the snub quickly reaches Drovers where Meg and Becky see their own situations reflected. The pair decide to swap jobs for the day to prove their worth but they soon learn that there really are horses for courses. Kylie's sticky fingers nearly destroy her friends' trust in her but at the same time she manages to expose the secret hook to Amanda's story on the women of Drovers Run. Meanwhile, Nick and Alex formalise their business partnership.
