Story
A United Nations DC-6 transport plane is flying a top-secret mission over central Africa with UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjöld on board. But just moments before touchdown, the plane mysteriously crashes a few miles from the runway. The loss of one of the world's great leaders is met with shock and disbelief. Rhodesian government investigators eventually conclude that pilot error is to blame for the tragedy. Skeptics who believe Hammarskjöld was assassinated dismiss the official findings, and when evidence of an organized attack on Hammarskjöld's plane eventually surfaces 50 years later, a special commission launches a controversial new investigation into the legendary aviation mystery.
