Story
It is the summer of 1970 and the Earth is split into two groups which are both armed with atomic weapons.
Harry (no last name) is the Secretary of State, is close to the president, and very ill with heart disease. He lives with his daughter Elaine and her husband congressman Ken Thompson along with an assistant Norris.
Ken believes that his government should practice "positive defense" and attack the enemy first to eliminate the threat.
Harry had recently seen a flying saucer but has told no one. Harry receives a call on his special telephone from a Mr. Krane who knows about the sighting and shortly arrives. Mr. Krane tells Harry that he has come from an advanced race on another planet and is on an important mission. Harry tells Mr. Krane that people will want proof that Mr. Krane is real, they discuss saucers, optical illusions, and if proof is writing something in the sky or stopping rain all over the world.
Ken finds Harry's notes on his conversation with Mr. Krane and the two argue. ...
