Story
The finale took place as a Three Course Service Challenge, which will be served to 18 of the former contestants. The finalists were given 4 hours to prepare their course, consisting of entree, main, and dessert. Emelia decided to stick with Classic French Technique and Flavour pairings, while Laura decided to experiment with Indigenous Australian Ingredients in her course. Both of them struggled during their cook, with Emelia adding more time in her pressure cooker, and Laura burning her left hand. Despite those difficulties, both of them managed to plate spectacular dishes. Emelia's Scallops entree was praised as one of the best entree by the judges, and Laura's Bonito entree blow away the judges with the texture and flavour of the dish. Both of their main was also highly praised by the judges, with Emelia cooking Beef Short Rib, and Laura cooking Wessex Saddleback Pork. Since both of their entree and main was deemed as perfect dishes, the decision came down to their dessert. ...
