Story
The contestants opened their Mystery Boxes to find smoking guns, and were given 1 hour to produce a dish featuring smoke as a key component. Reece, Emelia and Laura all blew the judges away with their desserts, and advanced to the Immunity Challenge. Callum, Khanh and Brendan all received mixed feedback, and Reynold was panned for prioritising technique over flavour. This left Poh and Tessa in contention for the final spot in the Top 4. Poh's Sichuan pepper-crusted duck narrowly beat Tessa's smoked snapper dish, and she joined the Immunity Challenge. The rest of the contestants then joined the Weekly Elimination.
