Story
All contestants other than Emelia and Reynold, who both had Weekly Immunity, faced a two-round elimination challenge. In the first round, the contestants had to cook a dish incorporating two different flavours of ice cream, with the only requirement being that the flavour combinations were unusual and inventive. Tessa, Reece and Khanh blew the judges away with their dishes, with Laura and Sarah T. also impressing. This left Poh, Simon, Jess, Callum and Brendan to cook in the second round, where they had to pick one of five unusual flavour pairings (raspberry/carrot, mustard/mint, lamb/coffee, peanut butter/basil and soy sauce/chocolate) to highlight in their dish. Poh, Callum and Brendan then went on to produce impressive dishes, while Jess and Simon received mixed feedback. Simon's lamb/coffee dish suffered from an overuse of coffee, which threw the flavors out of balance. On the other hand, Jess' raspberry/carrot dessert tasted more of red wine and orange than it did of raspberry ...
