Story
In keeping with the week's theme of suburban food, all contestants other than Amina participated in a two-round home delivery-themed elimination. The first round was a quiz where the contestants were shown a variety of popular takeout dishes, and were asked to identify their names and countries of origin. Ben U., Chris, Tessa and Tracy were the first to answer incorrectly, and were sent to cook in the second round. For the second round, the contestants were tasked with cooking a dish that could withstand the physical difficulties of food transport. Melissa returned to her house to judge the dishes after they had been transported to her by Deliveroo drivers, while Jock and Andy stayed back to judge the dishes from the MasterChef kitchen. All three judges were blown away by Ben U.'s nasi goreng, and Tessa's Southeast Indian snapper curry was acclaimed for its perfectly cooked fish. Ultimately, Tracy's Thai green chicken curry was also declared a standout dish, and Chris was sent home.
