Story
Ben agrees to meet captain Bill Daly, the utterly disgraced pilot of flight 828, who lost everything , including his family, being blamed by the public during their five years in limbo. He convinces Ben at the flight simulator that the entire official investigation into the accident was rigged, at least from the day of departure. The key factor was the weather, which was in both men's recollection for worse then recorded. They find and meet the one meteorologist who studied it at the time and region, Roger Mencin, who was legally sword to secrecy, yet tells him about his discovery, ionized 'dark lighting', but dies in a suspicious boat accident the next day. Daly can't accept he trail running dead and resorts to kidnapping professor Fiona Clarke, who he believes responsible for the disaster, Ben is too late to stop him.
