Story
John Brand is hard-broken, his junior teen son Mike, whom he supported unconditionally after assuming the female identity Michelle, having been found skull-smashed with a bat, posthumously dragged to an abandoned pool. While his wife Anne blames John for indulging the 'folly', firstborn son Matt soldiered on and acted as protective big brother. The local bigot bully being eliminated as prime suspect, the team must concentrate on the torn family dynamics, such as John having arranged a flat for him and Michelle and set confession traps. Rusty adores Sharon's ex Jackson Raydor as male role model and chaperon, especially facilitating a drive-in movie date with 'study mate' Kris Slater.
