Story
An American Oil company worker is sent to Stavanger to close operations as many drill tests have been conducted in the early 1960s to no avail. A local girl aged 17 in Stavanger is pregnant by an American and just been told he is leaving. Her family set her up to marry a local lad, as she panics she runs away and is chased by her father who gets knocked down in the road by Christian, a local diver for the oil companies. He is dating a local girl who just got a job as a secretary.
