Story
Father Paul, Nate's friend since they were both in the Catholic seminary, is fighting to prevent St. Nicholas' Church, where he is the parish priest, from being bought and turned into a mall by ruthless real estate tycoon Andrew Grant. After Father Paul is beaten and hospitalized by a street gang hired by Grant, Nate assembles his team. They arrange for Sophie to become Grant's media adviser and set up a "miracle" in which the statue of St. Nicholas weeps real tears. Even with Grant turning every obstacle into an opportunity, Paul objecting to 'dirty tricks' and the Vatican sending their own investigators to check out the "miracle", Nate persists.
